On July 23, 2026, we provided feedback to the EC’s targeted consultation on the draft guidelines for the classification of high-risk artificial intelligence systems. We suggested a range of improvements to these guidelines, specifically to bring the draft guidelines in line with the results from the recent Digital Omnibus initiative that updated the AI Act. The last part of the consultation asked about potential updates to Annex III or Article 5. We suggested some updates based on recent technical and commercial developments in AI.
