We submitted input to the European Commission’s consultation on implementing the AI Act’s classification rules for high-risk AI systems.
Our response addresses critical areas including safety component definitions, value chain obligations, and proposals for expanding high-risk classifications to cover addictive AI systems and autonomous agentic systems. Drawing on our expertise in AI standardisation and participation in CEN-CENELEC JTC21, we provided practical examples and recommendations to inform the Commission’s guidelines on high-risk AI system classification and fundamental rights impact assessments.
